Jintong Yang (杨谨侗)is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher exploring spatial computing to create immersive experiences and tools for artistic inquiry. She works with real-time visualization, interactive graphics, physical computing, and machine learning to build environments in which digital and physical spaces dynamically respond to human presence.
She is interested in the intersections among nature, body, and spirit across time and space, and in how computational media can shape, extend, and mediate perception and memory. Her practice spans live performance, real-time 3D rendering and fabrication, interactive installations, and audiovisual systems, with a focus on embodied interaction and multimodal sensing.
Her works have been exhibited or shortlisted by New York Nil Gallery, the Global Design Graduate Show 2023, the Romanian Cultural Institute New York, SVA Chelsea Gallery, and Miami Art Week. She holds an MFA in Computer Arts from the School of Visual Arts, New York, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Media Arts and Technology at UC Santa Barbara.
